Files being copied RIGHT NOW
After about 1.5 hrs on hold, I finally got through to the hosting. They are copying the files over right now from the old shared account. To copy the files they had to shut down the account, which explained a "Page Not Found" you might have briefly seen on the site there. In any case, the tech claimed that the actual copying process will not take more than an hour. We are getting closer!

Well it's still the same - I am waiting for the email that everything has copied over, which I am really hoping is about to come. Then I will be checking everything over and making sure it works. Can't really tell how long this will take, but I am hoping not more than 1-2 hrs. Then I give them the OK for DNS propagation (which will actually switch the name "overstream.net" to point to the new server). The duration of this will depend on where you are but basically it's something like 1-3+ hrs.
Man, I am dying from suspense here :( I guess you should never trust the estimates the hosting gives you - they were waaay too optimistic in their estimates...
Common guys, I can't wait to get to Overstream, you are like the air to me already! ;-)

Just got off the phone with hosting again. They said the move is done, but they were confused by the maintenance message they got on the new server (which is the same one as on the old :)). In any case, they said the email should definitely come in 15-20 minutes. I would like to believe them... :) I will post as soon as it comes.
Oh man, they seem kinda unreliable...? Thanks for keeping up with this and not giving up on it altogether. >_< Will cross fingers.
